Downtown Business Improvement Area Board of Management

THAT the DBIA Board of Management agenda dated October 9th, 2025, be approved as amended.

THAT the DBIA Board of Management minutes dated September 11, 2025, be adopted as presented.

THAT the DBIA Board of Management accept with regret the resignation of A. Murkar from the Board of Management, and, FURTHER THAT the Board of Management direct staff to publish the vacancy to the membership, and, FURTHER THAT the recording secretary provide notice to the municipal council.

THAT the DBIA Board of Management appoint Joan Greaves to act as the vice chair for the remainder of the board term.

THAT the DBIA Board of Management meet in Closed Session in accordance with the Municipal Act, 2001 regarding: (b) personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees [s. 239 (2) (b)] o IC Item o Staff Item

THAT the DBIA Board of Management move into open session for the remainder of the agenda.

THAT the Board of Management approve the financial procedures policy as presented.

THAT the DBIA Board of Management receive the Boundary Review Correspondence for information purposes.

THAT the DBIA Board of Management receive the Finance Committee notes from September for information purposes.

THAT the DBIA Board of Management receive the financial report for information purposes

THAT the DBIA Board of Management receive the Marketing and Events Committee Notes for information purposes.

THAT the DBIA Board of Management approve Designer on the Hill - Dani Vrana for the cost $550 plus hst for the web and social media marketing proposal as presented.

THAT the DBIA Board of Management approve the Christmas Ad-Hoc Committee request for $5000 from the pre-approved $9000 from the 2025 budget for downtown holiday decorations, and, FURTHER THAT there be an itemized decorations plan and budget to be sent to the executive committee for final approval.

THAT the DBIA Board of Management receive the Christmas Ad- Hoc Committee Notes for information purposes.

THAT the DBIA Board of Management receive the Beautification Committee Notes for information purposes.
