Downtown Business Improvement Area Board of Management

THAT the Agenda dated July 09, 2026 be approved as presented/amended.

THAT the minutes dated June 11, 2026 be adopted as presented/amended.

THAT the DBIA Board of Management receive for information purposes.

THAT the DBIA Board of Management receive with regret the resignation from Tracey Tink and Richard Vandentillart, and FURTHER THAT the recording secretary provide notice to the Town of Cobourg.

THAT the DBIA Board of Management take no action and the staff take no action regarding Candidate outreach.

THAT the DBIA Board of Management take no action in creating an all candidates debate and that staff be included in providing no action.

THAT the DBIA Board of Management receive the financial report for information purposes.

THAT the DBIA Board of Management receive the budget vs actual report for information purposes.

THAT the board approve Amanda VanGoor to become the Chair of the Marketing Committee

THAT the DBIA Board of Management receive the event committee verbal notes for information purposes.

THAT the DBIA Board of Management receive the Pride Survey Summary and Pride Actual Budget for information purposes.

THAT the DBIA Board of Management appoint Jennifer Bogart as the chair of the Membership committee.

THAT the DBIA Board of Management receive the Manager Report for Information Purposes.

THAT the DBIA Board of Management meet in Closed Session in accordance with the Municipal Act, 2001 regarding:  (b) personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees [s. 239 (2) (b)]  (c) a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board [s. 239 (2) (c)]

THAT the DBIA Board of Management move into open session.

THAT the DBIA Board of Management provide notice to their landlord for the termination of their lease at 15 King Street East and FURTHER THAT the DBIA office will be relocating at a hot desk at The Grand Hall.
